Randy Cavanagh started off his cosplay journey in 2000 building costumes with friends for Halloween. It began with mostly Transformers. Built from paper mache and styrofoam he blasted through a number of the classic bots, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Soundwave, Grimlock. Discovering cosplay in 2010, it opened up building costumes as a hobby and he's continued to fine tune his craft since then.
During the day Randy works as a game developer and has been working in the industry for almost 15 years. From there he moved up to Next Level Games where he's worked as a rendering programmer helping develop games like Captain America: Super Soldier, Metroid : Federation Force, and Luigi's Mansion 3.
By night, Randy works on new costume projects and his popular cosplay software Armorsmith Designer. Created in 2016, Armorsmith is a tool for designing, scaling and constructing costumes.
